TEAL Lab workshop offered by the CETL together with AET.
Learn about the Technology Enabled ActiveLearning (TEAL) Lab on Campus
Technology-enabled active learning (TEAL) is a teaching format that merges discussions, simulations, and hands-on desktop experiments to create a rich, collaborative learning experience. The first of many UC Merced TEAL Labs (COB2 - Room 175) will be available for instructors to use in Spring 2017. This room offers a fundamentally different learning environment from other instructional spaces on campus through the design, layout, technology, and potential pedagogical choices available to the instructor.
All faculty who want to embrace the experiential elements of learning are invited to attend a workshop and begin to prepare one of their courses for facilitation in the TEAL Lab. You will be exposed to examples of how to use the lab's technology and layout to help your students learn through doing!
This workshop will be offered twice this spring:
February 13th, from 3 to 4:30 pm, in COB2-175
February 28th, from 12:30 to 2 pm, in COB2-175
Space is limited. Click here to register!
