Student Engagement in Any-Sized Classes
Description: After a review of current research, and basic pedagogical terms including Bloom's taxonomy, we will focus on the presentation of several activities and models that can easily be implemented in large-enrollment classrooms and smaller sized classes to increase student engagement with course material. The techniques that will be presented have been especially curated to be as easily applied to a class of 50 students. as to a class of 300 students, without the need to drastically change your current course curriculum/design. Please note that this workshop is different from CETL's staple "Active Learning Strategies".
